Here is this weeks assignment. We were given a short script and had to come up with the camera angles and scenes. I am really enjoying this semester and continue to strive for improvement. As soon as some pictures are taken I will post some paintings.

Meeting Joe Kubert

Well I this past Saturday I went to Wonder Con in SF, CA. It was fun, weird, and exciting all in one. I had the chance to meet a childhood idol at Wonder Con, Joe Kubert. If you don't know who he is he is an artist that drew Sgt. Rock, Batman, Hawkman, and a few others.

The best part of this is he took 5 minutes to critique my Storyboard homework that I was getting done for a class. Not a portfolio or some art I was going to pitch to Marvel or DC but HOMEWORK!! He patiently looked over each panel, took a few seconds to gather his thoughts and then he just told me what was up. WOW! Joe "The Man" Kubert checking out my homework!! So awesome, he also took a couple of minutes and asked me about my story, art, and encouraged me to keep it up and to never quit or give up. He said many people don't find what there passion is and since I did to keep going.

Thanks Mr. Kubert! I am still on cloud nine right now.
