Well here I am a year later trying to start up this blog. The problem, I am an overachiever and perfectionist. Well after talking to a friend of mine I'm just going to start posting a drawing everyweek to track my growth, become a better artist, and just to have fun (isn't that what it's really about?). I always here that my best should only go on the web. Well what if I'm learning and want to grow? I would love to paint like Sargent, create concept art like Sparth, or work at Pixar like Matt Luhn or John Lasseter. Well they all started somewhere and this is my start. After months/years or putting "it" off I'm starting to learn how to digital paint. Here is my "first" attempt, a 40 minute quick study. I just picked up a sponge and glass and went at it.
Thanks goes out to Jun, Yun, David, Gue, Kee-Keh, Hsin-Yao, Hana, Craig , Tomutsu, Zhoaming, Zim, and everyone else I'm forgetting; for the inspiration to keep learning, growing, and challenging myself. Special shout out to Pastor Don P for challenging me and room 314 for all the support through the years. Sounds like I'm accepting an award. Anyway here we go.
