I Lied.

I mentioned in my last post that I was going to work on some original stuff, well I lied. I'm continuing my studies on painting and storyboarding from Rapunzel. Taking a break from the story side I decided to do a copy of Scott Watanabe's digital painting in order to learn some new techniques. Below is the Work in Progress (WIP). I still remember Jeremy Saliba's teaching in the Workshop's at AAU. "Always start with big shapes. If you are zooming in at the beginning you are worry about detail too much. No zooming in!"

Line work

This is a study of a Ron Garney cover from "Ultimate Spider-Man" #100. I'm working on my digital drawing which includes having unbroken pen lines or strokes. I'm working on breaking the habit of having a sketchy line. I think this is the last study I'm going to do for a while and I'm going to work on a finished piece.
